Tchaikovsky Concert Hall

The hall on Triumfalnaya Square was opened in October 1940, when the centenary of the birth of composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was celebrated. The venue was one of the few in Moscow that continued to operate during the Great Patriotic War. Today it hosts classical music concerts, dance shows, plays, and performances of pop artists. The spacious hall for 1,505 seats is made in classical style and light colors and is characterized by perfect acoustics. One of the largest organs in Russia, custom-made in the Czech Republic, can be seen here.
