2024 A Cappella Competition Winners

10 days of competition

From August 23 to September 1, hundreds of musical pieces were performed each day across the heart of the capital and its districts, all clear voices with no instrumental accompaniment. Vocal groups from various corners of the country and the world sang to win the hearts of Muscovites and gain recognition from the professional jury.

Festival guests

In addition to the competition performances, past laureates, finalists from popular TV shows, and winners of national and international vocal contests showcased their talents. Festival guests enjoyed a true celebration of vocal art, featuring a wide range of genres, dazzling shows, and original arrangements of global hits.

Summing up

On August 31, the final gala concert, dedicated to love for the Motherland, was held in Zaryadye Park. During the event, the best performers in four of the "Moscow A Cappella" international competition-festival categories were announced, along with the Grand Prix winner and the audience choice award.

Winners’ Names

The 2024 Grand Prix was awarded to the South African group, Zolani Youth Choir. In the "Performance with live looping" category. The best performer was Moscow-based Sonya Singleton. First place in the "small vocal groups" category was awarded to the young group PLUSFIVE from St. Petersburg. The "medium vocal groups" category winners were Pinopela from the Philippines and the group U LIKE from St. Petersburg. In the "large vocal groups" category, first place went to the Filipino choir Los Cantantes de Manila.
