<p>One of the central squares of Moscow is located between Tverskaya Street, the passage of the same name and Stoleshnikov Lane, opposite the City Hall building. It was established in 1792 on the site of the court of Princes Dolgorukov. In 1954, a monument to Yuri Dolgoruky was erected in its center, next to which there is now also a fountain and a park. Various fairs, festivals and celebrations are regularly held on the square, during which it is decorated with colorful pavilions and spectacular illuminated structures.</p>
