“Moscow Tea Time” at Plaza Garden Moscow WTC
The hotel participates in the Moscow Tea Time project, during which citizens and guests of the capital can taste a special tea set daily from 16:00 to 19:00.
The tradition of drinking tea originated in Moscow back in the XVII century, when this drink was first brought to the court of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich Romanov. Until the 19th century, tea was available only in the circles of the court nobility. Having become widespread, the drink immediately gained popularity, and Moscow became known as the tea capital of Russia. The Moscow Tea Time revives traditions. As part of the project, every day from 16:00 to 19:00, citizens and guests of the capital can try a special tea set right at the hotel. The menu includes tea from Chinese monosorts, a special Moscow blend, herbal collection, as well as jams, pastries and desserts.
