Monument of constructivist architecture in Nizhny Novgorod. It is located on the territory of the Kremlin in the historical district of the city. Before it was built there was the Spassky Cathedral, but in 1929 it was decided to dismantle it. In 1929-1931 the House of Soviets was under construction. Today the City Duma and the city administration meet here.
