House-Museum of F.M. Dostoevsky

Seeing with your own eyes the rooms where the chapters of “The Demons” and “The Brothers Karamazov” were written is an excellent opportunity for connoisseurs of Russian literature to delve deeper into the writer’s work. Dostoevsky lived in this house every summer from 1873 to 1880 and worked on his great works. The exhibition of the memorial museum occupies six rooms, including the writer’s office - its interior was restored from old photographs. The collection contains furniture and household items of the 19th century, books and manuscripts, archival photographs and personal belongings of Dostoevsky.
