The architectural monument was built in 1905 according to the project of architect Nikolai Belyubsky. This is one of the first automobile arch bridges in Russia. It spans the Mstu River and connects Kropotkin Street and Gagarin Passage. The crossing has a complex architecture: a white arch made of metal structures holds the weight of the bridge. In order for it to withstand heavy loads, there is a movable hinge mechanism in its center. In 2006, the crossing was closed to motorists and became pedestrian. The bridge overlooks the Mstu River.
