Museum of Russian Impressionism
The Museum of Russian Impressionism is a modern private museum of classical art located on ther former confectionery factory.
This year the museum celebrates its anniversary — for 10 years it has been bringing people and art together, helping notice the beauty in everyday life, sharing stories of the past, and actualizing them to the present day. Museum collection and and temporary exhibitions help visitors to explore the art of the turn of the 19thand 20th centuries. The museum also features kids’ studio, lecture hall, a bookstore and café and the "Podpisnie in Museum".
Until May 24, the museum presents the exhibition "Under the Mask"— a pictorial panorama of masquerades spanning a century: from courtly festivities in the era of Nicholas I to costume parties in Soviet parks of culture and leisure.
