Tchaikovsky Museum

This distinguished stone building on Kudrinskaya Square holds special significance in Russian musical history. The great composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky occupied the second-floor apartment from September 1872 through November 1873. More than a century later, in May 2007, the building was transformed into a museum celebrating his extraordinary legacy. Today, visitors can explore more than 500 fascinating exhibits across the museum’s halls. The collection includes precious historical documents, Tchaikovsky’s personal possessions, rare photographs, and an impressive array of engravings and lithographs, all offering intimate glimpses into the maestro’s life and creative process.
