Razumovsky Urban Estate
Razumovsky Urban Estate
Kazakova st., 18, building 1, Moscow
Today: 10:00 - 18:00
Commissioned by Count A. K. Razumovsky at the turn of the 19th century, this architectural gem was designed by Adam Menelas as a striking example of Moscow's wooden Classicism. The original complex featured a grand wooden palace flanked by two-storey brick wings, all set within sprawling parklands extending to the Yauza River. In the mid-1800s, architect Afanasy Grigoriev reimagined the estate, expanding and refining its structure. Today, the restored main building serves as the home of the State Sports Museum.
