Ottepel Restaurant

This restaurant is located at VDNH, in the reconstructed Silk pavilion. The interior is designed in a modern style, but some elements are reminiscent of Soviet times. The menu includes Russian and European cuisine. Chef Andrei Mamontov professionally combines different ingredients. His ability to create works of art on a plate offers guests vivid emotions not only due to the refined flavors but also due to the presentation. Among the chef’s undeniable masterpieces are borscht with duck and croutons with salo, duck confit with caramelized carrots, apricots, and blackcurrant sauce, and rabbit liver pâté with jam. Ottepel has also often been filmed for movies and TV shows. The pavilion buried in verdure is especially cozy in the summer.
